Art Competition
Dublin City Council would like to invite your students to participate in a school art competition for Pets In The City, a Dublin City Council family fun day aimed at animal fans and pet owners.
It is taking place in Smithfield Square on Sunday 19th May between 11:30am and 4:30pm.
For this year’s competition, we want to see students’ “Super Pets.”
Behind every Super Hero is an ever shining pet who is always up to any challenge that faces the city.
Students are encouraged to draw out and create their own Super Pet and give their new powerful animal a special name!
The combinations can be pets, farm or wild animals, the more fantastic the better!
The competition is open to 4th class only. Entries should be no bigger than A4 size and each entry should include: child’s name, child’s age, school name and school telephone number.
The top 20 entries will be displayed at the event and the overall winner and 2 runner ups will be presented with their prizes at the event.
We would like to thank Heritage Island for supporting this art competition by donating our three top prize family tickets to the following locations: GPO Witness History Museum, GAA Museum, and Christ Church Cathedral.
Entries should be submitted by post arriving no later than May 4th to the following address:
